    They were out for days according to my Dad, and when they got gas again there were big signs on the pumps saying that the gas was 10% Ethanol. I thought 7-11 gas was always 10% Ethanol, unless they stopped that when they went to the oxygenated gas. (That's the only thing I can think of.)

    For the cheap stuff it ranges between $2.70 and $2.93 in my area today.

    Walkguru, I never thought I'd be jealous at a gas price of $2.58 ;)

    I find it interesting that in Utah, our low octane is 85. Elsewhere the low grade seems to be at 87. Hmmm...

    Did you read about the fuel banks in Minnesota? Some people bought so many gallons 6-7 years ago, they are still fueling up for under $1 & $2!!!

    Wow.

    Oh - and Ethanol is steady at $2.72 here - started this weekend. I need to fill the Durango at lunch.

    I filled up yesterday at 2.72.

    Good thing - it's 2.77 today. That's a buck, for the 20 gallons I put in. $51 to fill up! TG it's the first time in a month I had.

    By Midway Airport in Chicago yesterday - lowest was $3.19.

    In Iowa when I got back last night, it was $2.73

    I didn't have to stop on the way at all.

    The highest that I have seen for 87 octane is $3.19 in my city and the city south of me.
