Still $3.05 near I-85 in Gaffney, SC But i just got it for $2.96 at HESS-Wilco on US-29 in Spartanburg, SC
We haven't seen those prices around here in a year or so. Feel lucky. Our deisel prices are well over $4
Our diesel over here is $3.85 minimum... I'm pretty lucky, though it doesn't feel like it. Just 50 miles away in Charlotte, NC it's $3.30 for regular.
I'm just glad to be driving less these days. $60 fill ups a few times a week were killing me. Time to invest in some good walking shoes
haha wow I thought that I had it bad . I was complaining about $2.99 yesterday here in mankato . I should be glad for now, until i break out the summer car and have to run 89 octane. haha girl behind the wheel of a sportscar watch out
$3.39 for premium at the Royal Farm Store in Baltimore. It has been the same price for about the last two weeks. This was a $53.00 fill up.
LOL, my summer car is an antique Buick. We speak not of the mileage I get, but generally it makes my 4wd pickup truck look good. -Jay
How antique? How about a 1979 Regal that resides in a garage with about 50K or 60K on it. Paid $3.20 for 87 just North of Phila. yesterday.
Mine doesn't get driven much anymore, about 1,000 - 2,000 miles/year. I wish I had a garage to put it in, but I don't. Its the first car I've ever owned, and I still have it. At least the A/C is still ice cold. I have no tolerance for malfunctioning A/C units. -Jay
That's probably the cheapest in Maryland you can get without going up into Western MD or over to the Eastern Shore.
$3.37/gallon for 87 octane at Mobil. It jumped up five cents from yesterday. Shell is $3.41/gallon for 87 octane. Shell went up two cents from yesterday.
At Exxon, $3.28 for Regular, $3.43 for Mid, $3.54 for premium and $4 for Deisel. This seems to be the price at many other stations.
I always keep my a/c running, and I don't care how much it costs to fix. Right before they outlawed R-12 for regular sale I replaced the condenser coil (was leaking), took every freon line apart, installed new O rings, leak-locked it, then I hooked the system up to a vacuum compressor overnight. Afterwards I added an oil charge and 4 pounds of R-12. I have not had to touch the a/c system in about 10-12 years, and its still ice cold. I think I paid like $400 for the parts & freon when I did it. -Jay
I just paid $2.95 at HESS / Wilco on East Main Street in Spartanburg. Almost 9.5 gallons for $28.00, filled up my tank, from just under a quarter tank.
Haha, very nice oldie but still a goodie Yeah my summer car is an '05 GT stang  . She's my baby. Never seen rain, snow or cold weather hehe. Has a few mods but stull working on it.
Well in California today . Going to Vegas tommorrow for CTIA . We just paid $3.67 for regular !!! Ithought Buffalo was high!!
Last time I paid for petrol was this summer in Poland, I had to drive in EU and I paid ~$7.30 a gallon (4.30 PLN/litre) so guys please, don't complain about US petrol pricing
One reason we can have lower prices here than in Europe is that unlike Europe the US has so much of its own Oil and other energy sources. We import the rest. Europe also taxes Petrol more.
I think it is the taxes that make that high over there and not the standard price per barel as this applies on a world wide basis as the starting pricve then one would add what ever the specific country or state that might add on top of the per gallon price. At Exxon, $3.30 regular, $3.44 mid and $3.54 prem.
