Lol. But over here they are truly ripping you off for diesel Its $2.97 for diesel at Hot Spot, I-85 exit 80 in Spartanburg, SC but BPs in this area are charging $3.11 for diesel. No good reason for that.
Saw 2.85 on the City Line, Avenue Philadelphia Pa. regular. Why not pick up the phone and call your Congress person? They really do want to get reelected. What can they do? 1 Lots, for one make oil drilled in the USA stay in the USA rather than being shipped outside the US at higher world prices. 2 Stop the filling of the Strategic energy reserve for a while. We are competing with ourselves for that oil. 3 Provide tax credits for those who use bio based "oil" for home heating or switch from oil to electric. 4. Drill in the USA everywhere there is oil. Perhaps the most important. Any of the above will cause oil prices to drop.
I don't know if it is a sign of things to come But the Mobil Stations here raised the price of Regular yesterday to $3.29 the Sunocos are still at $3.05 . I buy Sunoco because it is made from North American Crude oil . Little worried they will follow Mobil's lead
We have Lukoil (a Russian oil company) in Pennsylvania who bought many of the old Mobil Stations and they can differ in price a lot even when 2 stations are a mile apart. This is going to get nasty price wise. Please see my other posts above if you get a chance. $2.89 for regular today at Sunoco. same at Shell and 7-11.
$2.99/gal for 87 octane at Mobil. Most stations are $2.99/gal and up (the highest I have see is $3.19/gal for 87 octane and the average is between $3.05/gal to $3.09/gal for regular). Diesel is $3.25/gal at most stations.
Wow! And I thought that $55-$60 for filling up when I was half down in my Suburban was expensive. What is the make/model of your vehicle? I hope it is used for work.
I am in Pa. However here is an interesting site Florida Gas Prices: Marketing Florida Agriculture in Florida.
$2.88 Hess, for regular, which my car hates. Others were $3.00 OIL just hit $97 dollars and amazingly there is no political outcry as futures traders run the prices up. Commodities experts say up to $20.00 per barrel is because of futures traders.
Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.8295/1724; en; U; ssr)) we have gone over 3 dollars a gal. here.
Interesting website Jerro. Thanks for posting it. It says that Naples is $2.93 as of yesterday. I don't know where these people are getting there data but the lowest I have seen is $2.99 as of yesterday. Also Diesel at most stations is averaging $3.35/gal and not $3.17/gal.
Yesterday $2.76 for 89, at Hot Spot, I-85 exit 80 in Spartanburg, SC. We paid $18 for 6.5 gallons...more than half a tank
