$3.09 for 87 grade. I don't get it...the price didn't go up here until AFTER the Labor Day weekend.....doesn't make sense
4 days ago, it was $2.36. I just paid $2.49 for 87. But other stations in this area are as high as $2.65. Just over the border into the Charlotte area, it's $2.89 lots of places
Maybe, but you cars do much better than 20mpg. Btw, Is that Imperial Gallon, which would mean it would be about 1.2 US Gallons?.. To keep the thread on topic - $3.35 for Premium
When I was out of town last week I paid between $2.38 and $2.50 for gas. I had checked gas prices on the internet before I left and had my gas stops pre-planned to take advantage of the cheapest prices possible. -Jay
$2.73 for 87 octane in my area. But most stations are between $2.82 to $2.89 for 87 octane. I just happened it get it a cheaper station that still has good quality gas.
Ooooh, Premium. I haven't bought premium since the mid 90's when I sold my old 74 Chevy p/u. It needed premium to make up for the fact that leaded gas was no longer available. -Jay
lol, sorry Jay I have a 5.5l V8 with 355 hp, that does 0-60 in <4.5 secs and drinks a minimum of 91 octane
LOL, I have a 5.7 litre V8 in my truck. I don't know what the HP is, but it will nail you back in the seat. Not bad for a full size 4wd truck. GM really did well on those trucks. It even has speed sensitive power steering. Even at over 100 mph it is solid and stable on the road. It has everything but leather seats, which in this area are not good because the summers here are hot.. -Jay
Ok, me thinks your truck has <250 hp and is twice as heavy as my "Silver". So wanna race? No wonder, our gas is so high somebody had to subsidize Union, NJ
Hey someone has to help us here in NJ with all the other higher prices then the rest of the country. Geez. :evillaugh
Ok, so lets make this fair then. Put a 2,000 pound trailer on your car (so we're equal in weight) and then we'll race. I'm also up for a race in about 3 feet of snow too... -jay
Glad to help, any time. You need some gasoline with corn alcohold addtive from us? . Nope, sorry as is. Who said the race has to be fair anyway? What year is your truck, I have a hp to engine size chart, just curious.
I don't know Jay, I think she would still whip you in a race like this. Sorry got to give the Mercedes an edge here. Well if you want to ship over some Corn Alchol I can give you my address to ship it, I can't guarantee it will end up in the gas thank though, I may end up drinking it all.
