Hmm - I have to run to the station - the Hemi's on E (the gauge says 30 miles to empty) but the light hasn't turned on. I hope it's still 2.24. Though it could be cheaper, since it was $1.18 at the airport last night. 26 gallons to put in.
$2.44 for 87 octane. It cost me $32.50 to fill up yesterday (I had a 1/4 of a tank left). It took about 13.2 gallons to fill up.

At lunch - $2.24 for 89 octane (ethanol blend) - 87 was $2.32 & 92 was $2.50 I think diesel is around $2.3-something here. I used to work in the trucking industry & man - they have to be adding up the fuel surcharges this past year!!!

Flying J's are ALWAYS cheap. I'm betting it's that cheap at the FJ in Des Moines & Waterloo. But those are 100 miles from me!
yeah thats way too far to drive, my flying j is about 40 miles away, but then everthing is far for me.
Last time I filled up I paid $1.99. I feel kinda young tho... becuase I've never seen gas under $1 since I've been driving... In fact, I kinda think $1.99 is CHEAP... ~*Ash*~
I remember when I was in high school I used to put Chevron Supreme in my old Pontiac Bonneville wagon. For some reason it would haul A**, but only with that gas. Anyway I used to pay about $1.05/gal for it in the late 80's. -Jay
I remember when it was .99 \ gal. I used to put $10 in the tank of my 77 mercury cougar and it would last me all week. Right now in St Louis on business trip. Just paid 1.99 for reg. unleaded.
Yeah, the $1.05 was for premium. The cheap stuff then was about $0.85/gal. I bought some gas today in Leesburg for $2.19. -Jay
