holy crap, someone else actually listens to Chris Cornel's Carry on! I actually bought that CD when it came out. I'm listening to Audioslave right now, my favorite band by far. How do you like that CD?
It is his weakest effort so far. His voice is just so awesome, I will like it & buy anything he ever dose. Now listening to -
I am kind of glad he left Audioslave. The first CD was great and showed a lot of potential. But the last two CDs fell a little flat IMHO. Morello guitar playing and/or solos never really fit the the songs. And was the cause of the band falling apart. I hope Cornell can find a great band to back him up, or a Soundgarden reunion would be sweet.
"Billie Jean" from Michael Jackson's "Thriller". I'm glad I'm old enough to remember how amazing it was when this album went big. Music isn't like this anymore. I vividly remember Michael's historic "moonwalk" on the Motown 25 special in 1983. WOW!!!

The Smiths "How Soon Is Now?" (1984), the song with that phenomenal oscillating guitar riff. If you've heard the theme song from the series "Charmed", you heard a cover version of the original Smiths song. Freakin' awesome!!!
