Again Sprint has to Build a Tower Here,
since Cingular already has Coverage here.

Since when? That has always been a dead spot for all carriers as far as I know.

Yeah, I know I can drive all along Rifle Camp Rd. all the way to Rt 80 and not drop the call, but once you get into the Garret Mountain area Cingular coverage is very weak in some spots around the park and so to me that's a dead spot. The only good areas are near the edge of the mountain by the giant tower at the top of the mountain where signal floods in from downtown Paterson. The Cingular panels at the PNC Bank building on Rifle Camp Rd. don't make it up there because of the hills.

Where exactly is this new VZW site, MeatChicken?

Probably colocated in other Carrier site.
If the area is higher than the cell site
it will have a dead spot. Where is
the VZW Tower on Garrett Mountain?

    In the Bear Mountain, NY
going uphill there is a Dead Zone
    for all Carrier,
but once you're on top of the Mountain
    all carrier is Good.

I doubt it, since Bobo mentioned all carriers were weak there, & VZW was similar to CING before this site was added ...

Based on My Experience if you're on top
    of the Mountain Like:
    1. Bear Mountain, NY
    2. Lake George, NY
    3. I Have'nt been on top of Garrett Mountain yet.
    You can Receive a Signal.

In fact this is the Advise of Emergency Rescue People.

At Garret Mountain, when you leave the park there's a sign that says: "No Cell Zone" (picture below). I've always wondered if the sign meant that it is a dead zone for cell phones, or if it means that you are not supposed to use your cell phone there. ;) It was funny because how can you use your phone if there is no signal? At least that was true in the 90's when there was really no signal over where that sign is. Today there is service there, just not full.

Now, here's where I think the new site is. Below is a picture of 3 Garret Mountain Plaza and it has what it looks like new panels on top. I could not get a better picture than this, but if you look closely you can spot them at the top center of the building. Click on the picture to enlarge. The sector facing me had 3 panels, the one in the middle looked like the 1900Mhz panel and the two around it the 850Mhz panels and have reflectors behind. Typical setup for Verizon in this area. This building is right next to the PNC Bank building, so I don't care what Verizon says, this won't improve service at the park as the park is physically higher than the top of this building. Signal will be blocked just like Cingular's signal is, and Cingular's is on top of the PNC Bank building which is a taller building.

I think I found the new site on Rifle Camp Rd. It's a new pine tree camouflaged monopole. I couldn't see how many carriers are on it, but we know Verizon should be there, and by my phone readings Cingular was there, and by this map it looks like T-Mobile is there too. Just look in the center spot where it says "West Paterson". Sprint wasn't showing that spot on their map, but they can always roam on Verizon. Nextel maps shows a nice white dead spot all over the area, but that's either because they are really dead, or maybe they haven't updated the map yet. I'm kinda surprised Nextel would be dead there since so many cops and firefighters live around that area.

The site is actually a T-mobile treepole at the firehouse on Rifle Camp Rd. Cingular and Verizon are collocators on the site. I believe Sprint will be jumping on there soon also.
