"Apple and ATT sent a SMS to everyone yesterday."

I'm suspecting something must be wrong with my account and AT&T can't figure it out. Every time they send SMS alerts to iPhone users I never get them. And also when I go to a Starbucks for AT&T WiFi, my 10-digit number can't be validated. It's like AT&T thinks I'm not an iPhone user, but they say nothing is wrong in their end.

I haven't upgraded to 2.2 yet, but I will soon. The Safari issues, dropped calls and 3G signal vanishing issues are starting to get to me.

Yes, that is odd. Probably with a little nagging to them, it will straighten itself out.
Certainly is annoying, to say the very least!
Actually they sent me 2 of the same message on Friday, back to back. Maybe one was for you :)
