Good question. Every CDMA carrier in the country has been selling the K1m for months. In fact, Alltel just discontinued it, and uscc launched a new version (the project (red) version) last month.

Web exclusive simply means its only available from Sprints site and they dont sell the phone in stores yet

Re: Web Exclusive: MOTO KRZR K1m

But how could the K1m be a web exclusive when it's been out for quite a while now? I think Sprint means that the cost of the phone contains additional savings versus buying it in the store.

There are a number of "Web Exclusive" phones on their site, all of which have been out a while. The K1m has been available in stores as long as it's been available, unless Sprint has recently pulled it?

Hate to say it but the thread title is misleading.

web exclusive simply means web exclusive for Sprint............sure the KRZR has been out for a while but Sprint just started offering it like a few days ago.............this simply means that Sprint doesnt carry it in stores yet..........thats all

I fixed the thread title so it is a little more clear as to what the thread is about.

As far as the "web exclusive" it is referring to the price of the phone, if you order online it costs Sprint very little money so they can offer additional savings. Sprint would prefer that all their customers order online because it frees up Customer Service reps and sales office employees for other things.

LOL! I guess your experience with the KRZR is different from mine... though Sprint's software may have something to do with that.

Sprint's software has everything to do with everything. I dont like the lag. But anyway. I apologize but I have never seen this phone on the site before. Didn't know Sprint even offered it. Wouldnt get it myself because im getting more and more disappointed with MOTOs processors except for the new RAZR2s
