Hey, I am interested in having my own wap gateway to serve my own wap pages. What exactly would I need to set this up? do I need an http server first and then get an addon to allow wap, or is there a standalone server? or what? thanks for the help

It kinda depends on what exactly you want to do.
I have my own personal wap page on my server that I set the phone's homepage to. It has links to the most-used sites for me.

If you just want a small personal page(s) you can just make a WAP page, set the proper mime type on the server and go.

Here's a copy of mine for a start:

How do you get wap pages to work with your http server?
