WAP? and free WAP?

    Can anyone explain what WAP is and what it can do for me? I have read other threads that talk about which to use and why, but what is it???

    Wap is short for Wireless Application Protocol it allows you to browse the internet via you wireless phone but you have to pay a monthly fee for it.
    free wap is just like described above but in this case you change your IPand PORT settings and Homepage to bypass your carriers homepage/port settings to avoid charges, for more info read the first thread in this forum title "latest wap settings"..

    remember that WAP based internet is not the full blown internet you get at your computer. it uses a simplier code system. so dont expect to be able to browse normal webpages, you have to visit webpages specially made for WAP devices.
