WAP Access upgraded

Have you tried to install Opera Mini on your Nokia 6126?

 

Opera mini does not work on this phone either, that's what I get for buying an unbranded unlocked phone on e-bay.

how did you do a screen capture of your phone? Or did you tak a picture with a camera and crop it?

The forum worked great for me last night. Using Opera helps tremendously as IE won't bring up the WAP version of the site, and the normal site on a little phone just has too many images

man I loved my E-815, good phone!

 

Their are two programs I like. The first is built into iLauncher, and the second is a little freeware app called Capture Screen Utility Version 1.0.

My Opera version is 8.65 for Windows Mobile Beta (2493). Here is the link I used: Opera

 

And you are able to view the WAP site??? Ever since I installed the Opera Beta (same #) I keep getting directed to the regular site. I know this was a error with the browser, not the site.

 

Yes I can view the site just fine. I have posted several times also. Have you tried removing Opera and reinstalling?

 

With all the app trying / switching / deleting / soft & hard resets I have done. The answer is yes.

When did you download Opera?

i installed it on the 27th

 

I will have to redownload it then. May be they tweaked it a little, as I know it was a problem with lots of users.

 

Yea I figured you had but thought I would state the obvious!:biggrin: The funny thing is with the Mogul I have only had to soft reset it once so far. With my 6700 I would have to do it at least once a day and most days I would have to reset it multiple times. I am loving this phone.

 

Budney, I told AJE to be sure to go to http://wap.wirelessadvisor.com when using the Opera browser. If you go to that link, Opera 8.65b will take you to the wa00.com site. Let us know if it still isn't working.

I hope Opera dose fix this problem before the offical release 8.65. I know their are a lot of unhappy people on the Opera forums complaining about this issue.

 

Your welcome. I too hope they fix this problem. But at least we get to try out the beta and post issues about it before it is released.

 

Honestly I think I am seeing faster speeds lol.
One thing I wish we had was when there is a thread with alot of pages I wish we had a page icon that we can pick what page to go instead of having decending or typing in the specific page. If this does not make sense please let me know.

also would there be a way to add a quick reply icon on the top of the page I am on the centro right now and it does look good
