Hey Joe, I don't know if this was intended with the upgrade but the city/state part of location no longer shows, only the zip code . If you don't have your zip code set up in User CP, no location will show, even with the city in the location field.

Found something else. Deleted threads show up as "Thread deleted by". Not a biggie, but different than before.

Most noticable in the "General Discussions of Wireless" folder.

 

Your browser is probably caching the old JavaScript libraries from the site. Do a CTRL-R or CTRL-F5 (or whatever command your browser uses to do a "Hard Refresh").

I notice I'm missing my rank now, as are a few others. (NEVERMIND, rank is showing now) Also appears that smilies aren't working for me either. (smilies still are not)

When sending a PM, i'm not getting the option to request a "confirmation or message receipt"

 

Look at the checkboxes below the PM message editor.

 

I'm hoping it wil fix the time zone issue I've been having since the last upgrade. I have to incorrectly set my time zone to get the correct time to appear on my posts.

The old spell check was fine, why did they change it, Please bring it back?

 

I noticed that quoted post are now in a larger font size than before, slightly dwarfing responses.

after checking the option it defaults back to unchecked..

Joe, were quotes smaller than response text size before? It seemed larger than it was prior to the upgrade. More pronounced. Not a problem at all, but something that looked different to me.

 

Quote text was smaller than standard text IIRC, now it's the same size.

Personally, I like not having to answer whether or not I want a read receipt for every PM. Just check the box when needed. Pehaps you can configure it in your User CP? I haven't looked.

 

Is there some reason some threads aren't displaying in chronlolgical order? I just visited a thread where there were 3 posts, and the original post was in the middle of the 2 replies.

 

Thanks Matt, that's what I thought. As Joe stated in his response to a prior post of mine "Don't assume anything was intentional". I wanted to make sure the new quote size in posts wasn't a glitch.

By the way, Joe, I love the new way of editing a post. So much better than being take to the "edit" page. Thanks for this addition.

When you post to a thread your reply is at the bottom, by the original post, not at the top as the newest reply. This is corrected by refreshing the page though.

 

You must have your threads set to display in newest to oldest order? (newest replies at the top)
