Not sure if this has ever been addressed or not but what would be the possibilites of having our own WA email account to use for personal and busniess use just like yahoo or hotmail. I just dont want to confuse this with Private Messaging.
I think you're just bored to death in Steamboat Springs. I have to admit though, this is a really good idea, but on the opposite not sure if it's gona happen.
It'd probably cost JFB too much, but man, it would be nice... MOTOhooligan@wirelessadvisor.com... sweet!
Well I hate to be a buzz killer, but it probably won't happen. Cost wouldn't be a problem, but dealing with people who abused it would be. What if people started send out spam or malicious emails with those accounts? Then I would have to deal with complaints or the threat of getting all WA email addresses on sender black lists. It would be cool, but not worth the threat to our reputation.
Wirelessly posted (Palm 700p: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/Palm-D052; Blazer/4.5) 16;320x320) That is a good idea Ryan, but like Joe said, I can see problems with this down the road.
True... I didn't even think of Spam origninating from this site. What if you couldn't get an e-mail address until you had, for example, 500 or 1,000 posts?
Nope - that is one of the few variations I missed getting in the early days. Maybe something short like one of the variations of wa00.com
That could be usefull. I have two such accounts, which cannot originate mail. The operators add spam filtering. I use this service by way of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, ieee.org; and the American Radio Relay League, arrl.org. COtech
