Was wondering if anybody could tell me if the bigger antennas are LTE?

Quite possible, a bit wider than the ones I've seen but the thin short panels indicate VZW PCS Antennas.

This pic is in Omaha, NE and they are saying LTE this year..I've seen some other towers with these same wide antennas.

HA, I was just looking at that same site yesterday. My suspicion is that they are LTE. However, I haven't seen many other VZW sites around with what would appear to be LTE panels, and trust me I've been looking in anticipation of the 18th. Have you spotted any others?

I've been anxiously watching my galaxy tab for some 4G goodness, hoping they'll turn it on a few days early lol. I've spotted several other sites like that...84 and Harrison, Dodge street in front of Lowes, and there's a site by Westroads mall that looks suspicious. Those are a few I've noticed with the wider antenna :)

Verizon's LTE implementation uses two transmit antennas and one receive antenna at the cell site, correct? Yet in most pictures of LTE sites, there appears to be only one panel of new design per sector. Does the new panel contain the multiple tx/rx antennas internally then?

I sure wish 4g from any carrier was available here.
