sorry for the double post, but.....

I have roam signal here. When I try to dial I get a message about being added to the CDMA registry. Any one have any experience here as to whether this will work or not?
Airtime fees? Thai? From VZW? Whatever.?

I believe you could have "set up" your phone to work, with VZW. You may want to call VZW to find out the particulars.
CDMA phones will work in much of Southeast Asia, New Zealand & Australia, Isreal & the middle east, China, & North, Central & South America.

Did you activate International Roaming through customer service before you left? If you didn't, that's your problem. Call VZW customer service and have this feature activated. I think that Thailand is in the new PRL but, if the roaming agreement isn't officially finalized, your phone will not roam. CS can tell you this information.
