So... what have we heard about changes for VZW on May 9th? Not much here except more accurate coverage maps and an attractive $99.99 plan... anybody?
Do you have any more information on the attractive $99 plan. I am going to be porting my home phone number to another line on my family plan and my cycle date is the 7th. I will wait if it is worth it...also, have you heard any more info on the release of the V710. Thanks
The only thing I know for sure is that it will give quite a few more minutes than it has now... of course you can always change to that plan after you port. As far as the V710 goes... nada. Regards.
In Michigan, we are already offering extra minutes on 99.99 and higher rates. Example.. 99.99 Americas Choice ~ was 1600 anytime ~ now 2000 anytime.
2000 Anytime for $99.99, that's a pretty good deal... That's exactly what I'm getting from Sprint right now, though they don't offer that plan anymore. It's kinda amusing that Sprint went down from 2000 to 1800 @ $100 and VZW went from 1700 to 2000 @ 99.99. Anyway, sounds like a really good deal... maybe they'll roll that plan out nationwide or at least in most of their regions.
Of course, changes in MI and KY are really Old News (unless the RFB/ALLTEL situation in the UP has been fixed and/or Appalachian is now Extended Network...and if either of those statements is true, expect a new PRL to go along with it.) -SC
I'm almost sure of it. This makes me believe that Verizon is betting that they can keep their existing customers while deterring new customers with the activation costs. If it's all about coverage then most people won't mind. I paid my $30.00 4 years ago.
Yeah, the Eastern half of the U.P as far as I have seen is still not covered with Americas Choice. The Alpena area is though on May 10th. Its a beautiful thing for those of us in MI>
haven't heard anything about Handspring Treo for VZW Is that PDA going to come out or is it canceled?? :hmm:
