You know, I'm really glad Verizon finally let the cat out of the bag. Now I don't feel like I'm in danger of being hunted down and tortured until I spill my guts.

I for one am dissapointed in the Verizon PTT so far. My tests are showing very long PTT call setup times [IMG]

I hope the switch they flick Monday speeds it up.

It should take you about 20 seconds to initially log on to the PTT server, then after that the call set-up should be pretty quick. So are you talking about setting up a call or logging onto the server?

Setting up the call. Today in Philadelphia proper I was getting about a 3 second setup between 12PM and 3PM EST, but then later in the day the setup time returned to an average of 5 - 7 seconds.

Just to calrify, the duration from when you push the PTT button until the screen says connected for the first time, is what is taking 5-7 seconds. This happens each time you end the PTT call, or it times out after 20 seconds.

After the setup, each PTT attempt while "Connected" after the setup took about 1 second.

Has anyone heard of any add-ons that can be added to local or america's choice plans, but so that we do not have to get a new plan all together? T.I.A

Yeah, that movie was sweet. Exactly what I expected... a poorly written slasher flick. I loved it.
