I won't likely send that many pics to people, but does VZW really charge .25 for each pic you e-mail to someone? It wont really be worth it for me to get the plan that covers a bunch of pic messages each month. Why doesnt VZW just charge airtime, which is usually just your allotted minutes or free nts/wknds? My friend says on his ATT plan, they don't charge, and he does'nt have any special plan.

Sounds reasonable to me. They offer you a per pic charge if you feel you may only use the feature a few times a month, of if you feel you are going to use that particular service a lot, they offer you plan that for a monthly charge covers all...or at least a bunch.

It's like anything else....a service. I am surprised that AT&T offers the service at absolutley no charge.

Maybe that is one of the reason AT&T has been borded... "ARRRRRR MATIE, WE'RE HERE TO TAKE OVER YOUR SHIP"

I will be starting on VZW soon and it was my understanding you can put the pictures on www.vzwpix.com and then send emails to the people you want to share them with. That way you would only pay the cost of sending the picture once but as many people as you invite could then view them. Or is there a better idea out there. I am really new to this picture thing.

    That should work.

I always just email them to myself, then distribute from there. I prefer using my own stuff instead of Verizon's system. Then again, I've never given Verizon's system for that stuff much of a chance..lol, I'm just too lazy to try something else when I already do something that works [IMG]

that works, or u can send the same picture to up to 10 people and have it count as sending only one pix message (that is u will only be charged .25$ once...) but you have to send the pics together at the same time... ull know what i mean when u actually go try to send a message, you will see the option to send to another person....
