Just bought a VX4400 to use for a short while before I get a new phone through Verizon. This new phone will periodically reset, meaning it will shut off and immediately turn back on. This happens sometimes when I am making an outgoing call or when the phone is sitting idle. I believe it may have something to do when the signal is switching towers. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Also try this, if you like; take the battery off and gently clean the terminales. If it is cycling while talking it may have a bad power switch or the battery may be slightly loose or have dirty contacts. Also, you may have older software, this was an issue early on. If you walk into a Verizon Wireless store and talk nice to the tech they should offer to "flash" the phone with the most updated version of software. There were versions to address cycling.
