I just picked up a 4400B today and am wondering if the extended batteries fit into the original charger and leather case? From the few ebay items I found that said anything, they all said they don't fit. Is this the case with the OEM's as well or just the cheaper after-market stuff? I was hoping I could get an extended battery for this phone as much as I like them for the VX6000 but if it doesn't fit anything, I can't really see it being worth it.

I have the 4400 and with the extended battery, the phone fits quite nicely into the leather case.
However, I have the leather case with the two snaps which was carried by Verizon last year. I have seen a different leather case which I believe is a LG brand which did not hold the phone well. Granted, it was used, but the leather case had stretched and would fall off the phone when the phone was opended.

The extended battery will fit into the charger both by itself and while on the phone.

I have the VZW leather case for the 4400. Not sure if it's changed any as their cases have slightly changed since last year(now they have a bubbled Verizon logo on the front instead of the flat rubber, the cases also have a generally cheaper feal, only time will tell if it's just as good as before). Glad to hear everything is supposed to fit, I'll keep that in mind when shopping around.

Tony, yeah, I have the 6000 extended. It fits the case and everything else just fine. I was just commenting I like it and want a 4400 extended but my search wasn't very successful earlier. Now I'm all set.

You are right Tony, the 6000 with the extended batery does not fit in the Body Glove case. However the 6000 with the extended batery will fit in the OEM case that I purchased from Verizon.
