yea i just got the the vx3100 and i seem to be having signal problems, seems like alot of times i have only 1 bar can still make calls. or have a full bar then make a call and bars drop down 2 or 3. I never had these problems with my old phone the nokia 3285. I am past my 15days so what to do, is this normal or should a get a anothr phone?

The signal meter seems erratic on mine too, but I've only lost one call (in a place that I never have signal with any phone), so I don't think it's too big of a deal. But tell me - is yours deafeningly loud even at the lowest volume setting?

i know that the vx6000's had a problem with the antenna not making contact correctly...maybe there is something similiar happening to the 3100s?

Does the VX6 have a screw on/off antenna like the 3300?

There's a pic of the antenna and the best pic I could get of the base... Is it possible the same design flaw could exist, but went largely unnoticed because of the much smaller installed base of 3100s?
