I just bought a VX-10 with new Verizon service, and am pretty happy with the phone and features, except that I can't find any key for one-touch access to voicemail. Every other phone I've had offers this feature. It's not a big deal, but it's kind of a pain having to dial *86 every time I want to access my voicemail. The instruction manual isnot terribly helpful. Does anyone out there know if this phone supports this feature? Thanks!

Press the upper arrow key on the navigator key, then press 1 and send. Or once you receive the voice mail notification, open the flip and press the send key.

When I do this, I get the message "No Voice Mail Number Received"...perhaps my phone hasn't been programmed to dial *86? Any advice on how to do this? (Verizon tech support doesn't even know how to do this!)

The call back number (*86) to the voice mail send by the carriers network to the phone. You need to talk to Verizon tech support for setting up this option properly on your account. It is possible Verizon doesn’t offer the automatic call back number (*86) alert on that area. Have Verizon tech support escalate your call to the switchboard or their engineering group. They can give you an honest answer.
    Good luck,

OK, I'm working on this issue. In the meantime, I've had one of the rubber pieces at the top of the earpiece fall out. I purchased the phone 6 days ago, so I'm still within the warranty period. Is this phone a shoddy piece of c^@p, or should I give it another chance?
