Volume on Non-default Ringtones not adjustable?

I just got a V3M last week. Great phone so far.
I have been able to put my own Ringtones on it, but have noticed that the volume is not adjustable on them. If I preview the mp3 I can adjust the volume, but when I set it as a Ringtone and try to change the volume in the Loud Detail it has no effect when the phone actually rings.
Is there a way to change that?

If you want to decrease the volume of the default ringtones, you can just turn down the total ring volume. Changing the file itself, I dunno.
