I knew that they were going to do it soon... With select rate plans, you can get UNLIMITED NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS for only $5 extra per month. Are they doing anything else??? For instance: 44.99/mo (39.99 + 5.00) can get you 600 whenever minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, long distance, roaming, and all that other good stuff.... I think it's wonderful. What about everyone else???????????????

I just looked at Voicestreams web site and did not see any info on "night" minutes, only weekends.

Where did you see Voicestream is now offering "night" minutes?

I believe it's only being tested out in some markets right now, Hman although I'm not sure in which ones its being offered in.

Note this does say Web Personalized Offer
but I am considering it's +/- compared to my present $20 plan carried over from PowerTel

Rewriting the book on wireless service was fun. First, we added free long distance and free digital roaming
to both plan options. Next, we deleted the contract requirement. Then, we threw away an expiration date
so you can keep this plan for as long as you choose to remain on it.

    $30 $20
    WHENEVER Minutes 250 75
    Weekend Minutes Unlimited 500
    Free Long Distance Included Included
    Free Digital Roaming Included Included
    Ping Pong
Text Messaging 50 Msgs Not Included

correct, as mentioned by Hman, VS considers weekday evening/night as whenever min

but what I found otherwise sounds similar to Murdoc's original post
and in some ways even better, like $30 for 250 anytime min/mo
instead of the $45 for 600 min
(and I say that 'cause 250 would be plenty for me)
    both with unlimited weekends

has TNDan21 or anyone else seen VS offer night min?

I'm assuming Murdoc thought VS offered N&W
just like I did before I signed w/them
just like every other carrier I looked at

I haven't heard anything about extending the "nights for $5" promotion throught the rest of VS. But this test in Chicago and Milwaukee doesn't end until early June. My opinion is that if VS does include it, it might end up being part of the T-Mobile rollout/name change. But that's only a guess on my part.

No - nothing specific. Only that all of the new cities that are coming online this sumemr will all be T-Mobile - they will never be VS.

VZW offers the same exact promo but also w/ Mobile web, and providing more access to more areas
the VS to get the info so I think its great deal amongst both carriers.
