Grin i have a ericsson t68 from germany and have a voicstream SIM from CO and have coverage since a couple of month from Case Western R eserve westwards (downtown ..) and at the airport and some other spots. well the only bummer is live JUST like a mile east of the current coverage in cle hts. anyone any idea when the service will be up, lol actually ATT offert me just a SIM for my phone but if VS has full coverage soon i rather stick with them cause their network is better.
I have heard they are shooting for mid-July for a "soft launch", which is full coverage but no advertising. The advertising would begin in August.
answer well i called ATT them up and ask them if i can get just a SIM not a phone and frankly they were kinda confused for two days because it all new to them and I had to drop into ATT store to prove with on of their SIM card that it would work in my phone and it worked just fine !!! so they ordered one for me and then it was a on backorder for a day and yesterday they said they can ship it out to me if i want to BUT this time is said no because they wanted to pin me down for a 1 year contract with a 175$ chanceltion fee. and because i only need a SIM and no phone i said no. BUT it would have been possible. well but if VS i up and running soon i just stick with them becaus ethe only reason i looked att was that they have running network in ALL cleveland(BUT VERY CONFINED to the city borders)
Since at&t wireless has a semi-complete network up and running in Cleveland can voicestream users in other areas roam onto there network. Jack
From what I understand VoiceStream and AT&T do not have any roaming agreemeants with each other. So the answer is no.
