I received the standard text message on my phone this afternoon, that there is new voicemail. When I dialed into the system, there was an indication of four (4) NEW voicemail messages. Three of them were dated LAST FRIDAY, the fourth was new today and was the one that apparently triggered the text message.

My question is this: Were there any known voicemail issues late last week? Once that first voicemail was sent, I should have received the notification on the phone then, and obviously did not.

I haven't seen any reported problems on HoFo. Sorry it happened to you. Believe it or not, notification issues are rare. We'll see how it goes with the new VM system.

The new voicemail system works as it should. I hated getting those text messages for VM. Depending on the phone you have either an envelope or a tape icon will notify you of a message. You will be able to password protect your VM as well. Hopefully you guys won't have to wait too much longer. A definite improvement.

I can't wait for the new system and I have had issues with the current VM setup sometimes. Not getting messages for a few days and/or not getting notification that I have messages for a few days. It isn't a huge deal to me but I could see how it would be a major issue if you used the phone for business.

The last information I saw on this, was that Boston would get the new voicemail system the week of July 5.

Portland (4/26) and Salt Lake City (5/3) were supposed to be 2 separate rollouts. Both are getting converted next Tuesday 4/26.

That timeline seems to have been pretty close so far. Denver is next on that list with a date of 5/10. Will it convert earlier or a few weeks delay? Who knows I guess.

NY is scheduled for 5/17, but someone in the know on Howard Forums said he wouldn't expect NY to be done till June.
