Hi, having a problem with voice feedback. Any suggestions on how to stop this? I had been told to lower my volume but having tried that it didn't work. It is a new/used phone listed as reconditioned but did just get it. Also had the problem when my original phone was new. Help please.

It is most likely the person you are talking to. Ask them to lower their volume a notch or 2 and it will probably go away.

Hi Cathy. I used to a moderator on this board but it has admittedly been a long time. However, just out of kindly notice, please don't post your message on numerous categories simultaneously. That usually gets the moderators (negative) attention.

CDMA has been long known for echoing. CDMA carriers are Verizon & Sprint (to name the big two.) However, that doesn't mean other carriers don't get this. ATT (GSM) also has this problem every now and then--personal experience.

Here is a thread about Sprint echoing.

yep. it is annoying. sometimes a simple, "hey im in a bad spot lemme call you right back" and doing so will clear things up. theres a technical reason for it, ending the call and starting a new one is the best fix i know.
