I have a V3A and voice dial does not seem work with any degree of accuracy.

Is there a way to turn up microphone sensitivity?

You can on the GSM models, not sure about on the CDMA ones. I seem to remember people having problems editing the gain table on CDMA models.

Are there any instructions how to edit the tables?

What is happening is when you say:

Dial blah blah blah - the phone is hearing this instruction. However the name to dial is not matching anyone in the database.

The command is not taken at all into the actual phone but using a Jawbone it will call "some" of the numbers. The person speaking does speak clearly and distinctly.

I'm thinking this may be an inherent problem with the speaker independent voice recognition. Its more accurate on GSM V3's because the GSM model uses speaker dependent voice recognition. Try pronouncing the name phonetically, or, spell it phonetically in the phone book. Sorry, but I know nothing of modding Motorola's CDMA models. They are a totally different beast from the GSM models I am familiar with.
