When I set the ringer setting on my 4400 to High and Vibrate, all it does is vibrate. It did this on my last one, I got a new one, not for that reason, but I noticed that it still does not ring and vibrate, it only vibrates. Just wondering if any of you know what is going on or have a situation that you can tell me about. I will probably bring it in tomorrow to the store to find out what is up. Thanks!!!

this has been a problem on many 4400's. I'm am not 100% sure about this but i believe the problem is in the phones s/w...mine does the same thing and to be corrected i think you need to take it to verizon for a software fix/upgrade. i have been interested in fixing this on my phone but haven't had time to stop by verizon and ask.

I had the same problem with my old VX4400. All you have to do call Verizon and have them to increase the "Ring Tones" on your account. (If they are willing to do or Verizon network is capable on that market)
The way VX4400 has been designed (Not a good idea), upon incoming call the phone Vib 3-4 times then it suppose to ring. Since there is not enough time duration, The phone only Vibrate.
The VX6000 model ring and Vib at the same time. (This works for me better)
