I have a Verizon V3m that I have been using to add ringtones and picture to and from my pc (using the reader on my printer, and yes, I formatted it before I used it). I dropped it a few times, but nothing major because both LCD screens work (although I think the connection gets loose and the screens blank out sometimes).

Anyways, one day my phone freezes while closed and I discover it has the black background with the verizon logo when i open the phone. I try to turn it off, but it doesn't work, so I take out the battery and try turning it on again. This time it turns on, but freezes at the same black screen w/ the verizon logo. Next, I try taking out the SD card and turning it on. Now, it works perfectly fine.

I don't exactly know what happened, but my (good) ringtones are stuck on the SD card, and every time I try to put it back in my phone, it just freezes. :(

(I did check online, and someone mentioned it was a design flaw, so I don't know.)

Sorry for the long post. I really hope this problem can be fixed...:)

EDIT: Also, I should mention that I have not flashed or modded my phone in any way.
