But since they are 1 company they don't need to seperate how many of each customers because they are 1 & will be integrating there network to all CDMA eventually. So since they are selling both they can count all the customers as 1.

Also Verizon & Cingular still count Analog & TDMA customers as part of there total customer counts, even if they don't have new add's in these catagories, so should they be counted seperatly as well?

Jones, if it makes you happy, here's the truth behind Sprint's numbers:

    Direct Post-Paid Subscribers ___________36.977 million
    Direct Pre-Paid Subscribers (Boost) _____ 2.684 million
    Wholesale Subscribers _______________ 5.154 million
    Affiliate Subscribers __________________2.821 million
    Total _____________________________ 47.636 million

Now, since Sprint is not happy with those numbers, they decided to add Nextel Partners into the total for their conference presentation. Amazing! They have decided to catch up with Verizon one way or another. ;)

    Nextel Partners _____________________ 2.0 million
    Grand Total ________________________ 49.6 million

Now look at this Excel graph I put together. I did not bundle Nextel Partners into Sprint's totals here because that's how it is in their press release.
