Interesting. There aren't too many of these little regional/state carriers around anymore. After the AT&T/T-Mobile deal fell through it was obvious these are going to be the only sorts of purchases we'll see going forward. I do wish we could see the financial terms of this agreement, so we can sort of judge how things are going. I'm also curious as to who approached who about this deal. (If Verizon really wanted to improve their coverage in the area or if they got a good deal from Frontier Communications/Rio Virgin Telephone.)
About time this happened! This should improve coverage greatly for Verizon in the region. And in the BHC, AZ/Laughlin, NV area no more bouncing back and forth between networks.
I do miss the days of many "little regional/state carriers" ...I guess that's the way it has to be. At least the beer business is heading the the opposite direction. :cheers:
