I noticed that the model of phones Verizon offers is quite limited. However, I'd still like to know which phone works 'best'. I'm looking for a phone that has a camera, which can transfer pictures and other data (preferably text messages) to and fro from the computer. Also, I'd like a relatively small phone, and not the RAZR.

    Thanks for any input!

How about the Motorola E815 or the VX 8300? I have the E815 and am quite happy with it. I can transfer things like ringtones and pictures, but not Text messages using my Trans Flash card. I'm not sure how transferring files works on the VX8300 but I assume it's possible as it has a SD card slot.

The Moto e815 has gotten great reviews, for coverage and battery life, and is Ev-Do/V Cast capable if you are looking at that at all, although i wouldnt describe it as a relatively "small" phone.
If you dont need broadband speeds the Moto V325 will suit you fine and is a bit more compact than the e815, and its a motorolla so i would assume it would get great reception but I havent used it personally.

Two other non-motorolla options are the LG VX5200 and the Samsung SCH-a850. Some people say that motorolla's software is inferior to other companies such as Samsung and LG (including me) so these could be another option, although the moto software is not bad at all.(I have a moto phone)

These all have camera's, however note that the e815 has a 1.3 megapixel camera as opposed to the others with only a 300K Resolution camera. This means it will take significantly better pictures if you plan to print or display on a larger screen than your phone. Otherwise you may not notice a difference.

Hope I've helped somewhat and havent confused!

The LG VX8300 may be a good match for you. My grandmother and mom both have one and it's a great phone. The phone is an EVDO phone and features bluetooth, a megapixel camera, speakerphone, and a memory card slot.
