    Verizon & Nextel's Radio

Is it true that Verizon is coming out with a phone & service that will include a walkie talkie radio like Nextel?

If so, any ideas as to when or what phone(s) will be available?
    thanks.

Yes it is true. The Motorola v60p is the first phone I know of that will have this feature. I have heard dates as early as June, but since June is next week, I doubt it. The service probably will be up and running before the big holiday shopping season though. You can check the phone out at Phonescoop.

I also read June 1st as the release date for PTT and the v60p, as well as the VX6000. I saw it on HoFo, and also i have a friend who is a Verizon re-seller and he we told in June PTT will be released.

    Thanks for the replys.

Does the VX6000 have the push to talk feature? I looked up the phone and did not see it in the LG description.
