Now if you change plans in mid cycle because you need more minutes you will be prorated from the start of your current cycle to the current date. Any minutes you have used over that amount you will pay for at "whatever" rate. And then the new plan will kick in from there. (Crappy summary but I know you guys know what I'm saying.) My question is I am over my minutes. My last cly day is Dec. 6. So If I call in to change my plan on that date, they can prorate me but as of that date I will have full allowance of my minutes plan. So If I go to a higher plan on Dec. 6 to cover my over usage would it be covered or will I be charge??????????????
The way I understood it was like this: I have a 400 minute plan, with minutes moving over on the 1st. On the 15th, I change to a 500 minute plan. I would get 250 prorated minutes to use from the 16th to the 30th, and had 200 from the old plan, meaning i got 450 minutes the whole month. So if I was on pace to go over 400 by 50 or less, I was ok.
