I live in S/FLa, but travel all over the state. How is verizon service and how are theye to deal with cust. serv. ect. Thanks Ijay

In my experience up & down the western half of the Florida peninsula (north of Tampa on down) and on over to the center of the state (Gainesville, Ocala & the forest on down to Sebring) the extent of coverage is fantastic. Not only do you get Verizon digital towers, but, thanks to their extended network agreement with Alltel, you get to use Alltel's too--and they have tremendous penetration into the more rural, inland areas from their days as GTE Mobilnet. So when it comes to the issue of coverage in FL, I never hesitate to recommend either Verizon or Alltel. As far as customer service goes, I can only speak for Verizon, and I've always been pleased. Their wait times are incredibly short, and everyone I've dealt with has always seemed to have done their best to make me happy.
