Hey WA'ers. Need help advising another friend. I looked at Verizon, but still confused. Does Verizon have an (iPhone) plan like ATT Next? Or more to the point, a no interest payment plan, that also gives a break on the service? So that when payed off, the phone cost you as if it was a cash deal upfront? Is the Device Payment like that? Help!!! "With Verizon Device Payment, you can pay for your iPhone over 24 months with $0 upfront. Once your iPhone has been paid off, you’ll be able to purchase a new iPhone with Verizon Device Payment without any upgrade fees. Verizon Device Payment is available at the Apple Store. It is not available at apple.com. If you purchased a phone with Verizon Edge prior to 05/31/15, you’ll have the option to trade-in and upgrade to a new iPhone without any upgrade fees after you’ve paid at least 75% of the device. Also save more with Verizon Device Payment on The Verizon Plan. When you buy your iPhone on Verizon Device Payment you will receive a $20 savings on your wireless plan. For additional details regarding Verizon Device Payment, please visit your local Apple Store" Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
To the best of my knowledge since VZW has stopped the contract service way before AT&T did there's no more "break on the service" there. There's either a 0% APR monthly payment or a full price purchase, both of which get you the same monthly service fee.
Good. Thank you. So this person is already off contract and had a line charge reduction. So they get a new phone by either method, and the line charge remains the same. That is what I understand then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would assume so, but would also check to see if there are better deals to be bad now than their current service level. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
