Even though this thread is old, I thought I would let people know that I found a phone at the Verizon store yesterday that does in fact have blue bars on it and not red. Samsung SCH-U540 http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=1089

Yeah thats cool i would love the green. Mostly any other color then red is better for me because i get tired of seeing the same old stuff 24/7.

the green is an ugly pale green but on all the nw phones you can choose from green red blue orange etc... and on some like mostly the lgs you can choose very cool flash themes

i have this phone and there are actually no red bars anywhere on it the only choices are black or two different blue theme the updated menu is actually not terrible anymore....it has some cool(but useless)things now like you can change the colors of the numbers on the screen when you are dialing a number or you can choose to animate them. And it has a nice search feature you start to type the first few letters of a name (t9 method) then press the up arrow and it will take you there in the contact list. or say you want the calculator press 225 (cal) and then the down arrow and it will bring the calculator up!

  11. I realize this thread is a little old, but just wanted to let you guys know on my chocolate I can set the bars to be:

    1)red, of course
    2)blue
    3)orange
    4)green
    5)pale blue/grey
    6)black

I don't mind it a bit. You can set it to the VZW UI and pick those colors, then you can set it to the flash with those colors as well. I actually kind of like the UI on my chocolate!

AT&T has a long exclusivity on the Iphone! You won't see a CDMA version for along time.
