You know I am sure this has been brought up before but I wish that these two would work together and make a nice phone.

I'm hoping that something will merge between the 2 before next July, when our contract is up...any chance of that???

    Agreed, that would suck.

That's the one thing I hate about VZW: Why do they have to castrate all their new phones??? It's bull....

Well if this is true then I guess it will be a lower end phone which Verizon seems to do to Nokias.

The last time I checked the VZW web site (for this area), they did not offer any Nokia phones on postpay. The 6015i was strangely available on inPulse prepay.

Cause they're greedy. Its the mentality of a true phone company.

Hopefully Sprint won't be as silly with their new Bluetooth phones...

    My understanding is this.
Nokia phones are easy to upload what you want. So illeal downloads of music games and so forth can come on the phone and VZW does not like that.
I have not seen the final version of the Nokia 6256i

Nokia is offering MMC cards for the phone so they might work. Not having an mp3 player lessens the reason to have one.
