Yeah, it's expensive but remember the original RAZR was $500 when it came out. The V9m is mobile perfection. I love this phone.

I held a demo model two days ago. They actually took the time to talk to me about it. I thought it was very well packaged, a little larger and heavier, nice screen and keypad. Overall I think Motorola did a great job on this one. This is with just seeing and holding it though, not actually using one, battery wasn't charged. I thought the KRZR was to small, for my me and my fingers and hands anyway. For now I'm getting a new V3m instead I think. The V9m looks really nice though.
    IMHO

The V9m is like all the good things from the K1m put into a slightly longer much heavier V3c form factor. The RAZR and KRZR are pretty light phones, the RAZR² is heavier. But not in a burdensome way, it's heavy in the same way that expensive electronics or very finely machined mechanical items are heavy.

There's a density, a substantiality, there with the RAZR² that the other two phones just don't have. The materials seem better... to use an automotive comparison, it is as though the RAZR was a BMW 650i coupe, the KRZR was the Z4 M and the RAZR² is the Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe. The hinge is amazing (not as good as the PEBLs but close) and the external screen is better than the internal screen on most other handsets.

This is a great phone... I don't know how well it will sell because of how expensive it is but it is the finest non-smartphone I've ever used, hands down.

Actually I had to use my funds for the V9m I purchased yesterday. Haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet. I like what I have seen so far.
