Has anyone found a case for the v710 that is actually designed for the v710? There are a bunch of generics that do not permit full usage of features & displays. I'd rather wait for the right one. I have scratched the crap out of it already.
I used a case from the t720 and it fit fine. It does block the camera lens so no photos, otherwise fine. I found it for $5 at Fry's. Different brands may vary so the headset jack and mem card may be blocked too. In the one I have the jack was clear.
Because the phone is so big and 80% of the front looks like it's just itching to be scratched, I decided to keep this phone on the holster. It stays dust free and it seems easier to carry arouund. I've been thinking about getting a PDA screen protector and trimming that to fit the front? Anyone try this?
ha! good idea, yeah, i noticed it looks like its just begging to be scratched too, so i used the little pouch i got with my oakley sunglasses to carry it around in for now when its not on its holster... will be nice to have a real case, but this works for now.
I tried it after reading your post. It aint the best, but it works if you trace the outline of the phone on the back of the protector and make some adjustments for the cameral lens. Hopefully it will get me to the release date for VZW so I can get a real case.
