how come i can not get my V60t keypad to lock? it says it should be able to by Menu * but nothing happens. whats wrong?? ben tried on two phone ATT and cingualr
Why does it matter if you have a keypad lock or not on the v60? It's a flip phone, so when closed you can't dial any #s anyway. It's only a big feature on non-flip phones where you can accidently hit buttons.
yeah well you know the volume and the smart button on the side. you can hit those and chnage your ringing style from loud to silent if you hit it wrong and that wouldnt be good
You can't lock the keypad but you can lock the phone. Go to "settings" then "security" select "phone lock" enter lock code (default is-1111) and phone will be locked. To unlock it just enter lock code again. Hope it helps, but like joe0378 said why would you want to lock a flip phone?
then why does it tell you in the manul and the moto website you can lock teh v60t keypads WTF. i dont wanna lock the phone caus ethen i have to unlock it with a PWD everytime i wanna use it. i wanna lock it cause yeah well you know the volume and the smart button on the side. you can hit those and chnage your ringing style from loud to silent if you hit it wrong and that wouldnt be good so i want to lock the keypad so if i hit one of those nothin would happen
I just looked trough the manual and nowhere does it say that you can lock the keypad. You can lock the phone, mesages, voice notes but not the keypad. Maybe I missed it. Which page is it on? By the way default for lock code is 1234 not 1111, I'm sorry for the wrong info.
its under security page 137 heres a link to teh moto website all tehway at teh bottomhttp://commerce.motorola.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=239659&prmenbr=126&phone_cgrfnbr=1&zipcode=06517 see
You mean page 127. It tells you about phone lock. When they say keypad keys they mean you have to press keypad keys to lock your PHONE. They are NOT refering to lock keypad itself.
did you go to the link? it says keypad lock and phone lock. two different things. keypad lock is the menu * feature and it says its suposed to work
I saw that too but that feature is not available on 60t (I don't know about 60i, 60c or 60g). They also say that it has an alarm clock which is BS. It has an alarm or you can call it a reminder alarm but not actual alarm clock.
