Folks, I stopped in my local Verizon store to talk about phones and plans. I think I want a V60i as I think i just want a good phone for communication. I was told that the V60i is being upgraded... adding GPS and a few other things, and that the cost would likley stay the same. The store had no idea when they would get the newer versions. Does anyone know about this? Any useful information on the upgarde and the expected date of availability. I was in a store in Rockville Center, Long Island, NY Also any related comments on my choice would be appreciated. Thanks!
GPS is used for E911. Essentially it will allow emergency personell to locate you when you make a 911 call from your cell phone.
