The MetroPCS logo makes me want to do everything I never wanted to do bad to my body. <eg> mutilation, piercing, drug abuse
Yea I don't like that logo either... And On the Moto T720 series Verizon has it three times (outside, by screen, under keypad). And on some candybar's it has it twice (by screen, under keypad). But ANYWAY back to the v600 lol. Did anyone notice that neat indicator light by the "M" logo on the outside?
okay okay, no more WORD . To this day, I do not understand why no CDMA version of the v600 will be produced...I mean honestly wtf Moto?
There are other phones Motorola scheduled for release for the CDMA market, just this phone isn't one of them.
I understand that, but, this would be a great phone to draw in people to Moto's. But not everyone has GSM service.....GRR.
I Don't know the, v600 is coming out late..... it's starting to look "dated" Only a 65,000 color screen no mp3 player a camera (finally) it seems that Moto is starting to fall behind. Every Samsung phone or nokia phone has all these features and then some. Whatever happened to the Moto that was the leader of the industry and everyone else following them?? It was like when everyone knew Hulk Hogan was the world champ in wrestling I remember the Moto that introduced the first pager, first flip-phone, the introduction of the 2way(pagewriter&timeport) pager and text-messaging. The merging of a pda and phone for the first smart phone (accompli) and color screen. (if i'm wrong about any of this i'm sure someone will correct me and Thanx) anyhow it just seems to me that Moto finally came out with something that can finally be compared to the higher end phones that are already out. But to the smart consumer most people just buy it for the name brand. I mean i'm coming to terms with it, Motorola is not the company it once was, I mean shoot, Verizon OWNS everything of wireless, Moto is just digging themselves a deeper hole, by abandoning the cdma users. Also how many variants of the v60 are we gonna get??? Yeah it, was there center piece phone why didn't they give it a color screen and a camera with the ptt?!? So I totally agree with what Cenobyte said in another thread, (Man i've just been away from this board to long!!!) samsung and nokia have 300,000+ color screen and bluetooth enabled phones on the horizon, there will SIMPLY BE SOMETHING BETTER when the v600 comes out. Whatch gonna do MOTO?- However I'm still a Moto user though...(sorry for writing a book my 2cents though)
umm with 6.5 hours battery life(tho that has some to do with the gsm technology), bluetooth, tft display(yes it is only 65k), 5 megs of memory!!, and it does have a MP3 player, its not that outdated. each phones have their own advantages and disadvantages. the only think i wish the v600 had(that the v810 has!) is a flash to go along with that camera! i have held the v600(go to hofo and in the moto forums, u can see my whole story, its way too long to type here) and it has a real nice feel. anyways, like i said, i will have both phones so i wont be complaing
Only 65K colors? Even though you can get more, why would you need it? You won't see much of a difference between 300K colors and 65K colors, maybe just it's a little bit sharper but it doesn't really matter. And yea cool phone .
I still say it's a cool phone...and I sorta wish it was gonna be released for a CDMA network, but, at the same time, do we think it would be a good perfomer on the CDMA network?
YOU ARE ALL WRONG- AT&T IS THE ONLY DEFINFATE CARRIER AND T-MOBILE WILL PROBABLY HAVE IT - CINGULAR IS GETTIING THE V400 (STEP UP FROM V300)- THEY ARE GETTING IN IN 3-5 WEEKS--
Actually, coming from my Moto contact, T-Mo will likely NOT get the v600, as they do not carry quad-band phones. THey are currently carrying the v300.
ATT will no doubt have the phone- tmobile was thinking about getting the phone but they would minus the quadband, cingular will not have the phone as their strategy is get 1 or 2 REALLY GOOD PHONES every like 4-6 months rather then like tmobile constantly update and some might not be great- tmobile gets new phones all the time- the v400 is cingulars best phone though when it comes out- only 3 differences are this (v400-v600) 400 lacks: bluetooth, situational lighting, streaming video
You'll be surprised to know that Cingular will offer more phones than you think next quarter, not to mention the V400 will be released before Christmas. The V400 is just a V500 without bluetooth. The V600 is still in the air as the FCC has not approved it yet. AT&T will be the first to carry it after FCC's approval. T-Mobile will have the V300.
One, on the front flip, above the Motorola M. It will be a 3-D raised PFP emblem (skull and crossbones, perhaps?) but it will hide the EMP generator... so that the last thing you see before you die is PFP. That's CDooMA, baby. I have a pretty funny v600-related story. When I was in Colorado Springs I went to an AT&T dealership and even though I was well aware that the rumored release date for the v600 was the week after I left Colorado I asked them about the v600 because I thought maybe I could see an advanced copy or display model or something because AT&T does not provide service in Kansas. It was both an AT&T and T-Mobile dealership and when I walked in the sales rep came right up to me smelling a sale, I guess. I asked about the v600 and he gave me a puzzled look and I asked if the AT&T service in the area was GSM and he said that it was so I told him that the v600 was a new Motorola handset that was being released for AT&T sometime in the near future and I wanted to know if I could see one if they had it. He looked at me like I was some king of dumba$$ and said again that he had never heard of it. He then asked the guy in the back and he had never heard of it. He looks at me and goes, "Neither of us have ever heard of it... we're getting the v 300 soon, though. I can check the computer if you want." I looked at him and said, "I want." He gets online and goes, "Oh yeah, here it is on Phonescoop, it says it's going to be released for AT&T but it doesn't say when." Ah, Phonescoop... I remember when they released information on the v600 in October And left, saddened because I had not seen the v600 but vindicated because Douchebaggio the Dealer tried to make me feel stupid but ended up feeling stupid himself. I guess next time I'm in Colorado I should go to a corporate AT&T store.
