i know there were a few posts about this but i couldn't find the one that led me to this fix. someone mentioned that buying surface protectors at staples or any hardware store that are clear, 3/4" diameter selfadhesive by scotch guard would help and they do. i bought a pack, cut a semi circle and placed it right below the chrome below the mic, its slightly thicker than the pads that are on the phone, just enough so the when you close it the keypad wont touch the screen, especially that stupid raised point on the 5 key which was starting to make a dot/hole on the screen, luckily i had placed a screen protector before, now i'm thinking of removing it since the keypad is clear from touching it.

I wish I knew about this a year ago before I got a V600 lol. Plus, you should also cut a line to place above the camera on the outside of the phone because a scratch forms there, too.

for the outside i just left the screen protector, less obvious becuase the scotch guard surface protectors are thick, perfect for the inside bottom of the phone.
