I just picked up this leather case/swivel clip combo today at Best Buy made by Body Glove.

It's quite possibly the greatest case I have ever owned.......it covers the V60 very well and is thick enough that it gives an added sense of security about protecting the phone from knocks and bumps. Plus the swivel clip is definently a plus for me so I don't have to worry about the position of the phone when sitting down.

Of course the necessary holes are in place for speakers, ports, etc......

I would definently recommend it for anyone who is in the market for a new carrying case/belt clip.

Could you post a picture of it maybe? I just got my V-60i today and I dont really like the holster that came with it. Seems I always need to use 2 hands to get it out or put it in. I'm definitely looking for something else. How much did it cost anyway?

I always carried my v60c in my pocket, same for my T720. Good thing? After 14 months of use, the phone was in excellent shape no scratches. Bad thing? Bent (never broke) antenna. T720 has a sturdier antenna so no more problems with that. I have a friend who also got the v60c earlier and he always uses a holster, his phone was majorly MAJORLY scratched up. The lens on the outside LCD had chunks missing from nasty deep scratches.

Since the phones have delicate external LCD on the outside now, I definitely don't use the holster. If it sat in the holster with the battery door out like the old StarTACs did, I might be more inclined to use it.

Probably not, my girlfriend at the time made fun of me for wearing my StarTAC and pager on my belt. Sigh.. since then I have been too self concious to do so [IMG] [IMG]

But this Body Glove thing sounds pretty good to me

I use the Body Glove cell suit myself and i love it. It's not leather though (mine anyway) it's made of neoprene and it protects the phone really well. I love it!! [IMG]

It varies at times between carrying my V60i in my pocket and on its holster. That Body Glove case/swivel clip does look enticing, though.

Personally I like the holster, I dont find it a big deal about scratches. If you have the v60i, then all you have to do is just pick up a new faceplate.

Yeah, is there a case that doesn't add much bulk, so the phone+case can still be carried comfortably in a pants pocket? I just want some protection against scratching the external display, and a way to keep dust, etc. out of the phone.

Also, any idea if there are problems using PDA screen protector film on the v60's screen?

    Thanks! Karl

I've used the combination clip and leather case from the Cell Phone Shop, www.cellphoneshop.net. The one thing is that the clip stays on the case, so you can't really do "hands free" the old-fashioned way, not that you could do it with the v60 without the case anyway.

I usually just put it in my pocket. But when I'm in school I put it in my bag and I take it out of my pocket when I'm driving.
