My v60i (GSM) phone came with Motorola part SNN5704A and my v60s (Verizon) came with a SNN5722A.

Anyone know the difference between these batteries--is one last longer than the other?

    Thanks

I've done a bit of research about these batteries. This Link has quite a bit of good information.

Here they say that they are the same...

Motorola batteries are still a mystery to me [IMG] I get what seems to be about the life of a 750mah from the 5704a battery.

Does the battery that comes standard with the v60i phone the "slim" version?
I'm looking into getting a faceplate and I wanted to make sure I get the right one, my phone's battery is the original one it came with.

Yes it does come with the standard slim battery, it also depends where you bought it from, some places like E-Bay will give you an extended battery, just look at the number on your battery,
if it's a slim it should read SNN5722A.

That's strange, my v60i with Verizon has SNN5704A which is what it came with. All the other OEM Motorola batteries on ebay looked the same but I went with another 5704A just to be on the safe side.

I am having difficulty locating the original Motorola battery SNN5704A. The websites that sell the battery for the v60i have a substitute or a different SNN for battery. Does anyone know if a newer version replaced the original 5704A? The Motorola website no longer lists the v60i or the battery.
I am looking to get a replacement battery for the slim version of the v60i, and I would like it to be the OEM.

I don't think the SNN5704A is available anymore. The battery merchants list the SNN5683A as the correct battery, which is the same one my phone (V262) uses. I have bought several batteries from this merchant. The batteries had recent manufacture dates and had not been previously used.

    Motorola SNN5683A Battery | SNN5683A | SNN5683A Cell Phone Batteries @ Batteries 4 Less.com

This battery seller has also been reported to be reputable, but I haven't bought anything from them yet:

Motorola V235 Cell Phone batteries,Motorola V235 cellular phone battery,Brand new Motorola V235 Cell Phone Battery, Retail packaged Motorola V235 cell batteries, Replacement cell phone battery

Stay away from ebay batteries. I'm amazed at the lies most of the battery sellers there use in their adds. I've bought "NEW" batteries from ebay that had very old manufacture dates, scratch marks on the terminals and wear on the battery label that obviously proved the battery was used. Needless to say, the ebay batteries had very short standby and talk times.

    Thank you royc.

I kept seeing the SNN5683A when searching for the battery. I thought it might be a replacement battery. I have read that it is important to get the OEM motorola battery. However, doing research for my RAZR V3, someone said the original BR50 motorola battery was inferior to some of the replacements. That sounded odd to me.

I will check out the website you have listed. Thanks again for the help.
