I would have reccomended Xingtone for the mp3 part but I heard Verizon locks their web browser so that you can only use their features but I've never really messed around with a Verizon phone before so I don't know. Umm if you visit Xingtone.com and e-mail or IM on AIM one of thier customer service people you'll get a very quick reply to see if your Verizon service will work. I know the V400 works with Xingtone cause I seen some people on the site who were featured users using the phone. So check with them or Verizon to make sure. Watch your e-mail if you e-mail Xingtone you'll get an answer within a good few mins after u e-mail them they are very nice and very prompt and helpful when asking questions. Hope you can find some other ways!

The v400 is a GSM phone, and can't be used on VZW's network.

myPhoneFiles.com is the way to go. It will work with V400, V600 on GSM and Verizon's LG VX6000 and Audiovox CDM 8900 with their vzwpix. I think myPhoneFiles is the only one that let's you store on-line and send to phone mp3 clips.

You can also make your own clips with the software (Voicetones Studio) where you can rip CDs, clip MP3, WAV, AVI (audio only) files, or record your own (with microphone).
