V3M Motorola Phone tools (Can't communicate with phone)

    I have a Sprint RAZR V3M. MPT will set up, recognize my phone, allow me to use phonebook and calender and also charge battery, but when i get into multimedia and attempt to transfer it says it can't communicate with phone. Someone please help!

    Im having the same problem right now. It was working fine a couple hours ago for me and now all of a sudden it's giving me this error.

    I couldn't believe it was so simple to correct this.... I felt kinda silly but all you need to do is turn your phone off then on again and it should correct the problem. If your phone rings while the program is running and phone is hooked up to computer it causes this error.

    Lol. I was about to give up all hope for MPT. I've never had this big of a problem trying to figure out how to install a program correct and I've been using computers since Doom I was released.

    i have a motorola RIZR Z3 and i installed motorola phone tools and it says it cant find my phone and i dont know what to do or how to get it so it finds it any help??

    What version of Motorola Phone Tools are u using? Since the RIZR is one of the new Motorola phones, maybe you need a more recent version that has the updated drivers for your phone.
